Very clean.  Liked free 30 minutes internet.   Decor much better than other motels.   Balcony/courtyard – unusual for motels – very nice.   Nicest notel we have ever stayed in – much higher standard than we usually see in motels – very friendly.   Compendium was very useful too.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom spa unit and were very impressed. From the friendly check in and explanation of the town, to a tour of the room and amenities! This was our best accom in NZ so far (after Kaikoura) . The place was clean, modern, spacious, the rooms were nice and big and well set out. There was a heater in every room including bathrooms and heated towel rails too! Magic. The spa was nice after 10 days on the road travelling. The kitchen was well equipped with a full stove/oven and fridge. 2 tv’s. Very comfy living for 4 ad and 1 child.

I do remember a small playground for the kids. 2 mins drive down the road was the main street and supermarket. It was an exceptional place to stay.

Stayed here overnight on our way down the coast.    Great sized rooms, room for the kids upstairs, room for us downstairs, with a good sized kitchen area and good sized lounge area, plenty of room for us all.

Parking outside the room, free newspaper and friendly hosts. If ever in the area would stay there again.

Stayed here with my young family and was perfect.     Had a family funeral to go to and they even offered us umbrellas to take as rain was looming.
